| Polysaccharides functionalized at their reducing terminus constitute valuable materials for univalent attachment of biomolecules, drug targeting, controlled release and other applications. Monovalent conjugation of activated polysaccharides to biomolecules maximizes their effectiveness as polymeric ligands, e.g., as a polymeric leash, and reduces the risk of cross-linking or other undesirable reactions. We offer several monoamine-functionalized glycans and can also prepare other activated products, e.g., NHS esters. |
